A professional website — without the monthly bill.
GoLivePages builds clean, custom websites for small businesses, contractors, and independent professionals. For sites that qualify, hosting is genuinely free — so the only bill after launch is the one you already expect: your domain name.
One-page sites start at $600. Built for informational and lead-generation websites — not online stores, logins, or databases. See "Is this right for me?" in the FAQ.
Why there's no mandatory hosting bill
Most website builders charge you every month whether you need it or not — that's the business model. For the kind of site most small businesses actually need, that monthly fee isn't paying for anything real. Here's exactly what you pay for, what's free, and what isn't included.
What you pay us for
- Design, development, and copywriting
- Initial setup and launch
- Domain connection & configuration
- Optional future revisions or additions
What's genuinely free
- Hosting, for qualifying sites, at no ongoing cost
- No hosting subscription, ever, for that site
- No paid plugins or platform fees
What's not free — or not included
- Your domain name (~$12–20/year, paid to a registrar — never free)
- Online stores, logins, or databases (need a different setup)
- Ongoing content updates (available, priced separately)
The real cost difference
Not a guess — here's what the other guys actually publish, compared honestly: a comparable design/setup cost either way, plus whatever gets billed on top of it after that.
Every year, the orange bar climbs higher because the $17/month never stops. The green line never moves — there's no year where the one-time site costs more. Squarespace runs $19/mo, typical shared hosting $10–12/mo — this uses the cheapest real option on purpose, not the most expensive, so the comparison stays fair.
Assumes a comparable one-time design/setup investment on both paths, priced here at GoLivePages' own Standard rate ($1,300). Wix Light plan pricing ($17/mo) as published by Wix, cross-checked via websitebuilderexpert.com, rates as of time of writing — plans and prices change. Domain registration (~$12–20/year) applies either way and isn't counted here.

Frequently asked questions
Is hosting really free? +
For sites that qualify — informational and lead-generation sites — yes, hosting is genuinely free for as long as the site exists. We handle the technical setup, so there's nothing for you to configure or maintain. The one cost that's never free is your domain name, which you register and own directly, typically $12–20/year.
What if I need an online store or a login system later? +
That's outside what this model is built for. It's not something we'll quietly try to force into a static site — it needs a different setup and a custom conversation, which we're happy to have if that's where your business is headed.
How long does a project take? +
Roughly 1–2 weeks for a one-page site, 2–3 weeks for a multi-page site, depending on how quickly content comes together on your end.
Do you guarantee more customers or top Google rankings? +
No — and we'd be skeptical of anyone who does. We handle solid, correct on-page SEO basics as part of every project. Rankings and traffic depend on far more than any single website, so we won't promise results we don't control.
What do I need to provide? +
Your business info, a logo if you have one (not required), any existing photos or content, and answers to a short project questionnaire. We'll help organize and write around whatever you send over.
What happens after launch if I need a change? +
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds. After that, small changes are $50 per request, or you can add an optional Care Plan ($20/month) for ongoing updates and priority support. Neither is required — your site keeps running exactly as built either way, whether or not you ever touch it again.
About
We started GoLivePages because we kept seeing the same two bad options: pay an agency several thousand dollars for a website, or sign up for a builder that quietly bills you every month forever for something that, for most small businesses, doesn't need an ongoing bill at all. There's a real, honest middle ground — a properly built, custom website, paid for once, hosted for free where that's genuinely possible.
We build every project the same way — clear pricing upfront, real design work, and a site you fully own when it's done.
